MEDCEN

GIVING TO OUR COMMUNITY

Giving To Our Community
Medcen Community Health Foundation has helped support the health of the central and south
Georgia communities through philanthropic endeavors since 1973. As part of Central Georgia Health
System, Medcen's charitable efforts are The Medical Center of Central Georgia, including The
Children's Hospital, Cancer Life Center and its new comprehensive center set to break ground in
2012, and Hospice of Central Georgia. Three major events throughout the year help raise funds for
these health care services.

Medcen also hosts other events, such as the Y96 Radiothon for Kids and Children's Miracle Network
Broadcast on local television station 13WMAZ. Medcen funds charitable efforts that address
community health needs and focus on disease prevention, health promotion and wellness
education.
