Navicent Health is committed to serving
veterans, offering a number of programs
for those with honorable discharge from
the U.S. military. The screenings at MCPC
are perhaps the most evident of Navicent’s
offerings for veterans.
“This program is just our small way of
serving those who have served our country.
It’s a small act of kindness when compared
to all that our veterans have given,” said
Darren Pearce, Chief Administrative
Officer of MCPC.
The hospital began offering the screenings
cancer and prostate cancer checks; lung
function, hearing and vision screenings; lipid
profiles and Angioscreens among others.
“We have a whole lot of wounded
warriors - it’s good that Navicent Health
is offering these screenings to help take
care of veterans. There should be a crowd of
veterans out here each month,” said Talbot.
MCPC offers free screenings for U.S.
military veterans on the third Wednesday of
